_Grapes Of Capri
In the heart of Anacapri, almost hidden amongst its narrow streets, stands this maison de charme: Grapes of Capri. From what were previously the spaces annexed to the convent of the church of San Michele, this perfect fusion of design and tradition was created only a few steps from the center.
The genesis of the architecture of Grapes of Capri is the desire to maintain the original and peculiar aspects of the original structure, while at the same time combining with it elements with an absolutely contemporary taste. Thus, walls coexist in which you can see the remains of ancient nineteenth-century frescoes and furnishings of refined urban design.
The vaulted ceilings and narrow spaces are reorganized in a narration of a location that maintains the elements of what it once was while showing itself with a totally new face.
The white of the walls enhances the bright colors of the furnishings, amongst which yellow and blue become the predominant colors. The balance of ancient and modern has the effect of luxury beyond time, in an aesthetic that knows how to capture and combine the best elements from different eras.
