An English nobleman who lived at the end of the 19th century and was in love with a beautiful young Neapolitan, had a villa built for her on the Posillipo hill surrounded by greenery with a view of Capri in a breezy, cool place where it was possible to enjoy a particularly pleasant and healthy climate.
Thus it was that Villa Sanfelice was conceived; a villa in Posillipo reminiscent of a Naples where the streets were still navigated by horses and carriages on a dirt road that climbed into the countryside.
In the 1980s Villa Sanfelice was purchased by the present owners and today opens its doors to a cultured and curious public welcomed into the splendid setting of this noble residence.The green of the garden and the blue of the sea on the horizon color the external environment in the most suitable shades for enjoying the tranquility of this cool and highly pleasant location.
